Accidental Death does not include death which is caused directly
or indirectly
by one
or more of the following causes: sickness, illness
or bodily
or mental infirmity
or disease of any kind; suicide
or self - inflicted injury while sane
or insane; declared
or undeclared war
or any act of war, riot
or insurrection,
or service in the armed forces; any event directly
or indirectly related to the ingestion of
alcohol by you where the concentration of
alcohol in your blood exceeds 80 milligrams of
alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood; voluntary ingestion of poison, toxic substances
or non-toxic substances
or drugs, sedatives
or narcotics (whether illicit
or prescribed) in such quantity that they become toxic,
or voluntary inhalation of a gas; from
or while committing
or attempting to commit a criminal offence,
or committing
or provoking an assault; medical
or surgical treatment
or complications arising therefrom, except when required as a direct result of an accidental bodily injury; participating in a contest of speed, scuba diving, skydiving, parachuting, hang gliding
or bungee jumping,
or a flight accident except when travelling as a passenger on a commercially licensed airline.

Treatment of nervous
or mental disorders,
or Treatment in connection with
alcohol, drug
or chemical abuse, misuse, illegal use, overuse
or dependency
or use of any drug
or narcotic agent; Injury sustained while under the influence of
or Disablement due wholly
or partly to the effects of intoxicating liquor, chemicals,
or drugs
or narcotic agent, unless administered under the advice of a Physician and said
narcotic agent was taken in accordance with the proper dosing as directed
by the physician; unless prescribed
by a Physician, except as stated in the Schedule of Benefits for mental
or nervous disorders;
If the policyholder's death was brought about
by or because of consumption of
alcohol or narcotic substances, the insurance company is not liable to compensate dependents.
The Life Insured being under the influence of,
or the Life Insured abusing, any drugs,
alcohol,
narcotic or psychotropic substance not prescribed
by a registered medical practitioner;
What will result after being arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired
by alcohol, prescription medication, illegal drugs
or narcotics?
Consumption of
alcohol or drugs
or narcotics except as prescribed
by the medical practitioner.
If the insured person at the time of the accident was under the influence of drugs,
alcohol,
narcotics or psychotropic substances, unless prescribed
by a registered medical practitioner.
