In the spectacular «War for the Planet of the
Apes,» a chimpanzee dad, Caesar,

by Andy Serkis, fights aggressively to protect his wife and kids from dastardly humans.
A former Special Ops soldier turned anti-poaching expert turned primatologist at San Diego Wildlife Reserve, he has a special bond with Rampage's famous gorilla, and desperately seeks to bring the wayward
ape back from the mess caused
by an industrial accident at the hands of nefarious evil - doers and genetic meddlers Engyne,
who are fiddling with animal DNA in order to produce biological weapons.
In addition to its exquisitely crafted spectacle (artfully punctuated
by Giancchino's heart - string - tugging score) and hefty themes (War for the Planet of the
Apes deals in humanity's worst milestones, with allusions to the Holocaust and Slavery), War functions as a powerful vehicle for Andy Serkis,
who redraws the lines of motion - capture performance's potential once again.

who grows up to become an
ape - separatist revolutionary — was packaged in a bland Hollywood wrapper, as a love story between a lab scientist and his assistant (played
by James Franco and then - it girl Freida Pinto, respectively).
A trip back to the mysterious and dangerous home of the king of the
apes, the new film will reportedly follow a team of explorers (led
by a character played
by Tom Hiddleston),
who venture deep inside the treacherous, primordial island to find the leader's brother along with a mythical serum, confronting extraordinary creatures along the way.
