oven and preheat to 180 °C / 350 °F.
Drop cookie dough
by spoonfuls onto prepared and
bake in preheated
oven for 8 - 9 minutes.
We noticed very little difference
in our side -
by - side test; the brownies
in a thick stoneware pan needed about 1 additional minute
in the
oven, but the brownies
in the medium - gray (not dark) metal pan, and
in glass,
baked for the same amount of time.
Toast the almonds
by placing them on a
baking sheet
in a heated
oven for just a couple of minutes until they begin to turn brown.
I made a thin layer of the dough on
baking paper
by pressing it and shaping it with my hands (rolling pin just didn't work for me but I can imagine it would work if I put another sheet of
baking paper over the dough to avoid contact of the dough with the rolling pin), then I cut it with pizza cutter into little squares, made holes
in each square with a fork and
baked it * without any turning * for 30 minutes
in the
oven preheated to 170 degrees Celsius (350 F).
Here were my variations: - mixed all dry ingredients together first; - did the almond flour substitute for the coconut flour; - made a well
in the middle, and added all wet ingredients; - increased egg count
by 1; - increased vanilla twofold to increase liquids and because, well, vanilla; - mixed all liquids together
in the dry - ingredient well prior to mixing
in the dry stuff gradually, folded nothing, and let sit for about 10 minutes prior to pouring into greased pan and setting into the preheated 375 degree
oven; -
baked for about 30minutes, and let cool about 10 minutes
in the turned - off
oven before taking out of the
oven.
