Most of ye probably didn't support arsenal when Wenger was classed as one of the most wanted managers in Europe and was putting it up to Utd and winning trophies every yr things are different now the moving stadium all that less whinging give it a bit of time he is starting to spend and I'm sure he will buy 1 or 2 in Jan and a few
big signings nxt summer and I hope he goes out on a high man gets ridiculed
by knobs
like ye on a regular basis
players want to play for him
big star
players like his style wake up a bit as long as he is in charge the club is in good hands
But on the downside, At a
bigger club with star
players with egos, if the
players are not happy with the new arriving Boss (
big name) you will get the complete opposite of the above... Lack of motivation, just
like what happened with Utd when SAF was replaced
by Some no body!?

who would of guest City would make an offer of 60 million in the summer for Sanchez with only a year left on his contract, i'm guessing we could get an offer of around 30 million from City in January so he wont be persuaded
by the
likes of PSG with a signing on fee in the summer, but who knows what goes in the mind of Alexis or what kind of injuries some
big clubs could have from now until January for them to make ridiculous offers to a world class
player with no CL conflict of interest, lets say Real Madrid loses Ronaldo, Bale, Karim to long term injury you bet they will come ceiling with baring gifts for Sanchez's services or even Barca with Messi or Suarez
It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the
big picture...
like the fans, he too was lied to
by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told
by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success
by acquiring
players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much
like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the
likes of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the
players around him and we all know who is in charge of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer

because the lack of discipline in arsenal team.Look at ferguson as Manchester united; no almighty, no
big and no important
players.Sanctions are front of
players» doors whoever you are.I know someone is chosen as discipline mate in arsenal but a lot of complain between them.Arsenal
players, their body language looks
like they hate themselves. There are no unity between them. They are not happy.they do not want play for one (one team one goal or one team, one leader and one goal) because many of them they are there for longtime why them just come and become a leader.this is a question of light of one of you.and you can be lighted
by him.One thing arsenal
players forget.let light of one of you to be shone then you are going to get your part.

I would
like to tell arsenal fan that the transfer window is not arsenal's problem.Let explain what is in my mind.We need to reinforce our team but we need to think in the future that most of the high class
players are going to refuse signing for arsenal fc because of Mr Wenger's philosophy. It looks
like arsenal becomes cemetery of
players.How many
players came in and left because of performance, became good
players out of arsenal. We need to accept all of the transformation Mr wenger brings in arsenal but now it does not work. Why??? because lack of tactics, strategies and pretending best
players for Mr wenger mind but in reality those
players do not get standard of best player.Mr wenger wants to prove everybody that he is wright that
players who are calling
by wenger are best.I means Mr wenger is the only one can see all matter in good position or bad.He is wrong
by thinking this way.He does not
like criticism.he is the mind of arsenal.Everything he can say or defend is wright.Think about morrinho comments about arsenal!!!! Why he
likes to be arsenal coach!!!! One thing I want to say about arsenal
players, I think everybody watch arsenal games. We have got short mind
players who play two good games and the rest shameless. They are working hard in the training ground for catching Mr wenger's mind to let them play; what is behind their (
players) mind to be the most regular
players.Those
players have no vision even ambition; they are never becoming high class and their carriers are going to finish in arsenal after arsenal we are going to see them playing for championship. They do not care to become legend as Ian wright, Vierra, Berckam, piress, Henry... What is the
big behind their mind to use wenger name to be selected in national team. They are not able to face different leagues in the world.

The current situation in the Premier League and in some clubs around Europe must be hurting Arsene Wenger, because whereas Arsenal used to have to deal with just a few really

but the long - term solution is for AFC to get rid of itself of what has now become its
biggest liability: a manager that well past his prime that * is ultimately unambituous (not buying the best
players), * ineffective in transfer windows
by not paying enough or having enough backups, * passing on
players like fabergas & getting kalstrom, * unable to motivate his
players up for the
big games, * unable to get the best out of his team
by putting them in weird lineups, * favoritism to certain
players, shuns others (
like pod / roz until they lose their skills), * inability / unwillingness to adapt formation for
big games,... thank you for the memories wenger: all good things must come to an end.

Arsenal was given one of the weakest team in this CL competition.Everybody expected a win,
like by big margin but the whole match there was no fight and desire. The game was so poor at all front last night.City and Man Utd played their hearts out even though they were defeated.Man Utd
players witnessed a horrific injury to their team mate, that will affect their focus and rhythm but they fought with desire to win the game till the end.City were the better team than Juventus, they played really good.I have even read an article on Sky that states even though Man utd and City is defeated they still can qualify the group stage, thats how their performance were reassuring. But Arsenal were really poor from starting the game till end.Zagreb got their first win in CL since 1999, that says it all.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced
by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the
likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I
like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act
like this was all part of a
bigger Wenger constructed plan... he
like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted
by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed
by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is
like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Also jimmy jazz again great name
by the way i think the fact were 6th in ayer purchases and i agree without kane spurs would be below without kaneuckeu them for now but i see laca will be better next year and auba will have had a taste of the rigorous epl and because its a world cup year we need stability with wenger for atleast another year i think were vying for that spot and wi th cazorla coming back and hopfully Jack signs with a couple good signings if we splash some cash and ozil already signed we could surprise the league next year with a very strong season and Leicester surprised apparently everybody but us cause we handled them well that year but no one else dod and we finished second but i think its not so good for a
big club
like us with internationals in a world cup year to change managers do it in a non world cup year cause you only have a couple weeks with your
players maybe less with some before season starts
That is why I am a little concerned about the news reported
by Metro that our two
big name
players are demanding something
like # 230,000 a week to sign extensions to their current contracts.
So this is not
like the
big MIRACLE of the tournament because they beat England, England is poor and thats a fact and the
players with the fake confidence pumped up
by the media!
No one is questioning Wenger's past achievements, but he has had three seasons and 5 transfer windows to get the necessary
players i.e a top sttiker and a dm which are glaring deficiencies in our squad and yet he ignores it and this summer was an example of how delusional he has become,
by making statements
like there no
players available which could improve our squad, while treble winner barca even with their transfer ban get couple in, same with Bayern, Madrid and all other
big clubs because they know you have constantly improve their squads to compete, and
by making that statement he implied that he has one of the best sqauds in Europe, so can you please tell me whether you are optimistic about our chances against Bayern?
Ask yourself why Ferguson was happy to allow the
likes of David Beckham, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Jaap Stam and Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the club, when seemingly their intentions to do so were not motivated
by greed, yet a young upstart tells the club «I want an obscene wage
like the
players at Man City, if you don't give it to me then I am off» and for some reason rather than choosing to cash in on a
player who appears to not know the meaning of the word «loyalty» (just ask Everton supporters), instead hands the
player the
biggest deal in the club's rich history.
So although he has rested the
likes of Alexis Sanchez and Laurent Koscielny, Wenger has given Arsenal a good chance of getting through to the fourth round
by including
big name
players like Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey, Mustafi, Gabriel, Monreal, Xhaka and the Oz.
It really felt
like a turning point and if Tottenham can help us out
by at least stopping Chelsea from winning then I think the way that the Gunners came back from the dead will give the
players a huge boost and will give us fans reason to believe that the fighting spirit, or lack of it, that has been one of the
big problems in recent years, really is there.
As reported
by The Telegraph, however, the Arsenal boss played down this pressure and declared one again that he would not be forced into spending
big money on a
player just for the sake of it, going on to suggest that unless the
player in question was better than the
likes of Theo Walcott, Joel Campbell and Alex Iwobi then there was not much point in Arsenal signing them.
If
players like Weiser, Hrádecký e.t.c are being targeted
by both Leverkusen and Dortmund and the former has UCL football and we don't, I think it's pretty clear who they'll choose, regardless of the fact that we're the
bigger club.
I'd
like to see us sign some good
players, not just
big names that have been bandied about
by all and sundry but good
players that will improve our team and club prospects.
Freese is known for a lot of things — personally, I
like to think of him as the
player traded
by the Padres in exchange for 90 at - bats from Jim Edmonds — but he's nothing if not a steady, reliable, worthy
big league regular.
Great news on Bellerin signing again and I
like how Spain are handling him
by still picking him for the u-21's this will keep him grounded unlike young English
players who get into the main squad then refuse to go back to u-21 because their heads are getting to
big!
Yeah Jose was sacked
by Chelsea but he's efficient with his transfer business he was able to convince
big players like Ibra, Miki, Pogba to join Man United who aren't even in the champions league while Wenger failed to convince Jamie Vardy to come to Arsenal
I remember some of you posted pics of our midfield and praised ev some drew comparison with lucho, ev has a style that is very similar to the Barca way, but he loves defensive stability and because we lack the true Barca MF to do it we are
like this, we all agree some
players must go, but carefully looking at things you see that most of what ev does was done
by pep (of course not as boldly) but his style looks ugly and boring, guys let us give him a chance it hurts but let us do it, let us see the
big picture, he may not be capable of beautiful football but at least while we build we are confident of results which we need, when we rebuild then let us fire him, but if this is down to the
players then we are making a mistake, I am not asking anyone to change but just stop insulting and criticising ev, patience is the key.
