Unfortunately, there's worse news: Pretty much every
prediction by climate scientists shows that this rate will not slow, and in fact may have been underestimated.
Isn't the whole point to expose and punish the misuse of
science by climate scientists and to prevent or make less likely similar things in the future?
But in the meantime, the incident has been widely picked up by the climate change denial movement as evidence of more scientific
misconduct by climate scientists.
These are not regional events: they simply confirm that there are natural factors that have been totally
discounted by climate scientists that are now coming into play.
