16 Jul 2008 Exhibition of Contemporary Drawing at the Irish Museum of Modern Art An exhibition of some 250 works on paper by more than 80 leading international artists opens to the public at the Irish Museum of Modern Art on Friday 25 July 2008.

One of Ireland's best still life painters, his work is admired by many other contemporary Irish artists as well as private and corporate collectors, and is represented in several important art collections such as: the Office of Public Works (including Leinster House), The National Library, AIB, Jefferson Smurfit Group, National Irish Bank, the Irish Management Institute, Smithwicks, Tara Mines, the collection of former President Mary Robinson, the Concept Gallery Pittsburg USA, and the Royal Hibernian Academy, to name but a few.

24 Oct 2008 In Praise of Shadows at IMMA A major exhibition presenting some 90 works in the form of shadows, shadow theatres and silhouettes by eight leading contemporary artists opens to the public at the Irish Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday 5 November 2008.

According to a review by Irish Times art critic Desmond MacAvock, O'Neill had always shown the greatest consistency of manner, style and subject matter of the Belfast school of contemporary Irish painting.
