I was inspired recently
by my friend Julie of the Little
Kitchen to try a vegan version of another American
Favorite Sandwich, the Philly Cheesesteak.
The memory of the skillet and the idea of cornbread was skulking in my subconscious, and so, we pulled together our
favorite standby cornbread, with some locally milled, nubbly Ohio corn flour, from the recipe in A Year in A Vegetarian
Kitchen by Jack Bishop.
This was a 100 % travel free and 100 % commitment free weekend so I took advantage of this
by getting some produce and hitting the
kitchen by trying a few new recipes as well as an old
favorite... banana bread.
So, I celebrate Christmas, and in the spirit of giving, I want to thank you all for all the love and support you've given me and the Yvonne's Vegan
