Exhibition catalogue: The exhibition is accompanied by a publication designed
by the graphic design studio cyan with numerous illustrations and reproduced documents about the history of Black Mountain College as well as 12 essays i.a. by Gabriele Brandstetter, Brenda Danilowitz, Mary Emma Harris, Annette Jael Lehmann, Andi Schoon and the editors of the catalogue Eugen Blume, Matilda Felix, Gabriele Knapstein and Catherine Nichols.

As it happens, the Ireland - based
studio was also responsible for producing world - class Oscar nominees «The Secret of Kells» and «Song of the Sea,» and though Nora Twomey worked on both films, «The Breadwinner» marks her solo directing debut, employing a similarly bold
graphic style in its telling («hand - drawn» via a program called TVPaint), augmented
by colorful story - within - the - story interludes
designed to look like stop - motion.
The vehicles were developed at the Lucasfilm
studios, where artists penned everything from the
design, colors, textures, and

Monolith Soft, a Japanese developer, has previously been used
by Nintendo to assist the Legend of Zelda's development team with

He became famous as a poster designer in Germany and eventually moving to Austria to found a
studio at the outbreak of World War I. His reputation was built on the strength and range of his
designs whose signature style was marked
by graphic simplicity and directness.
This exhibition features
graphic posters and an interactive, multimedia installation
by NLXL, a
design studio for visual communication and interaction
design based in The Hague.

graphic design studio Experimental Jetset went on to become one of the most important and influential practices of the past 20 years.
Using a family of logotypes that are used
by corporations to create transparent products such as clear varnish, the
graphic design studio Metahaven developed its own visual identity in the run up the exhibition.
