I installed mine all
by myself... it was daunting to me at first... I was going to ask my dad to do it for me but I thought i would try to learn a lil bit about
plumbing... 10 min later it was installed no
leaks or issues....
We used less water in 2007 than in 2006 because of changes in the number of people living in our home (1 adult was replaced

But there's always the damaged caused
by Plumbing Leaks, pests, etc..
The landlord is responsible for repairing damage to the property caused
by general wear and tear, such as
leaking roof,
plumbing and drain problems and damaged gutters.
If something couldn't have been foreseen
by a reasonable person (
plumbing leak - water was off when the contractor did the quote, etc.), then it might make sense to increase the scope of work.
One thing you may not realize is that a homeowner's insurance policy does not offer protection for many valuable items and systems in your home that may break down over time from normal wear and tear, including appliances such as a washers and dryers, HVAC systems,
plumbing, electrical systems and roofing
leaks (depending on the reason for the
leak, it may or may not be covered
by homeowner's insurance).
While your homeowners insurance (hazard insurance) may cover the costs to replace flooring, walls, or any other things damaged
by the water
leak, a home warranty would potentially pay the costs of having the pipe and
plumbing repaired.
