TRAIL
MIX: I make my own very simply
by mixing together my favourite
nuts and seeds — cashews, almonds, pecans, coconut flakes, and then adding some dried fruit in too: raisins, figs, and dates.
I am not too fond of just eating them
by themselves but if you make your own trail
mix and add other berries, seeds, and
nuts then these are more palatable.
I had some melted chocolate and
nuts left over at the end, so
mixed these together and filled twelve dinosaur chocolate moulds that I was kindly given
by Sisley over at Sew White a couple of years ago.
Add 100g cubed feta, followed
by the seeds of 1/2 a pomegranate, ⅛ cup of
mixed nuts and seeds of your choice (I used pumpkin seeds and almonds), and lastly a sprig of mint into each jar.
Frankly, I can eat the raw cranberry relish
by the spoonful, but if you're concerned about tartness, I assure you, once it's

mix: You can use a store bought variety or you can make your own
by combining
nuts, seeds, dried fruit and / or chocolate chips.
While I am not chowing down on sugar - laced cereal with a prize buried in the bottom of the box, I know I could do better
by including fruit and
nuts into the
mix, but the challenge is that it must come together in the same amount of time it takes to pour Cheerios and milk.

mixing until the almond butter is at your desired consistency — the longer you blend, the more oil released
