There are certain tactics that are often considered
by marketing strategists, as well as Amazon buyers — such as downpricing an eBook in order to spur sales that will potentially up the
book's exposure in
other places
on Amazon — but there is no single formula that will guarantee prime placement.
Two years after «standing up» to Amazon
by handing Apple instant
market share in the ebook space, and jumping through hoops to supply every
other harebrained ebook startup with shoddily formatted content, with nary a thought given to device interoperability nor optimal user experiences, and in the wake of the # 2 domestic

... not sure where the above comments re self publishing costing thousands comes from... im delighted with Lulu and it did nt cost me a penny to publish my first
book Maggie's Shadow and now available everywhere in print and electronic form... i did all the work myself and when stuck asked for help and Lulu's response was almost immediate and either the following day or the next providing invaluable insight
on how to proceed ~ and free... i'm now
marketing myself and have already agreed to place my
book on consignment at one indie bookshop and with
others ive yet to call... my library opened their doors to introduce me as a local writer and the local paper just printed the event... little
by little its happening but it requires diligence and a willingness to promote one's work... i learn something new everyday and plan to submit my
book to many of the self published contests that are now available... i would recommend Lulu to
other authors tired of waiting for an agent

on its way to reaching a 50 %
market share in the

other than to say that I relied heavily then

I read Jay Adkisson's
book on Asset Protection that
other folks were touting as the bible
on the subject & I've got to say it is a better perspective than anything else I've read. One thing he harps
on in his
book is if a person uses a professional that puts out
marketing materials stressing the use of the strategy for asset protection then it may get drug up
by the litigator in effort to try & invalidate the instrument so that's another super exotic reason I'd be a little leery to have Tim Berry's firm tagged
on my option docs.Regardless I'm convinced paying his consulting fee will be money well spent.Hopefully BP will help me gather a slightly better understanding so I ask more prudent questions when I do pony up for some hour (s) of his time. Thanks!
