We validate scripture
by other scripture (In context) we validate the context of a passage within the book it is found and then in the chapter its found and then in the book that it is found and finally in the context of the whole Bible.
The first two options are not implied in the context and are disqualified
by other scripture.
Yet contemporary Hinduism is perhaps more influenced by them than
by the other scriptures.

The
other part of me also knows that if you do believe
by Scripture, tradition and your own internal barometer that homosexuality is a sin (let's say), then you are not going to wish to give the thumbs up to someone being on staff who is openly living that lifestyle.
Then, even though they may apply cultural references to
other scripture, they refuse to acknowledge (or at least look at some unbiased research) that loving committed gay or lesbian relationships today do not resemble the types of homosexuality referenced
by Paul in Romans or 1 Corinthians.
It is one thing to offend
by speaking truth, that'll happen, but any
other type of offence is unnecessary and against the teachings (which show God's heart on the matter) in
scripture for those who claim to «know Him».

scripture uses some aspects of ancient mil life to help us understand spiritual truths, the mil life and church life are not a perfect analogy or paradigm
by which to judge the

There is no god, only morons who follow their delsuions and try to make

When I read Romans 12:2 and so many

I can only explain to you that the
scripture promise that to all there is a gift of faith
by the same spirit, and that there truly are
other spiritual gifts that not everyone will experience.

Scripture on their side and «must give up the New Testament authority, or abandon the fiery course which they are pursuing.»
By learning the language of the
other, Christians might just find the common language of the Tradition grounded in
Scripture.

Scripture is carried out
by others who claim that we must look in
Scripture for the «locus classicus» of a Biblical doctrine and concentrate on its teaching, interpreting all else in light of its truth.
