If you are interested in a specific dog, please add that to the application so your preferences can be noted
by our adoption coordinators.
You will be contacted
by our Adoption Coordinator via email and assigned an application screener within 72 hours.
Adoption applications must be filled out completely and will be reviewed
by our Adoption Coordinator.
The application must be approved
by the Adoption Coordinator.
This will be set up
by an adoption coordinator with you.
The decision about who adopts a dog should be made
by the Adoption Coordinator.

The
Adoption Coordinator can make exceptions to this general policy on a case -
by - case basis.
Foster family responsibilities include: obtaining necessary veterinary care (all veterinary costs are covered
by GRRNT), providing a loving family environment for their foster dog, providing basic manners training when necessary, and working with our
Adoption Coordinator to find the perfect Adoptive Family match for their foster dog.

Interested parties who wish to adopt a dog or a cat can do so
by contacting the group via email or in person,
by completing the application process, and then attending the interview / orientation with one of the group's
Adoption Coordinators.
Once we receive your
adoption application, you will be contacted
by one of our
adoption / home visit
coordinators to discuss your application, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time for a home visit.

The daily operations of Homeward Bound Rescue are managed
by a dedicated team of volunteers, including a Board of Directors and
coordinators in the positions of integral operations such as Foster,
Adoptions, Fundraising, Events, and Home Visits.
If an initial application for
