I have never been particularly interested in
recipes — or, if we're being completely tactlessly honest, people — defined
by what they are not, which is probably why you don't see a lot of
recipes with flour / dairy / gluten / meat / sugar - free, no - bake, one - bowl, hand - whisked or the like in
recipe titles here, although we have plenty of all of the above.
Despite the
title, this great new vegetarian cookbook
by Nikki and David Goldbeck, co-authors of American Wholefoods Cuisine, is chock full of
recipes for every meal of the day - especially if your toddler, who like me couldn't care less what's «appropriate» to eat at certain times.
This
recipe in particular was adapted from the most amazing book, simply
titled «Asian Pickles»
by Karen Solomon.
The first

by Craig Kominiak, which begins a chapter
titled «Daily Loaves».
I adapted this apple cinnamon pancake
