It makes sense that in a film plagued
by unbelievable characters parading around pretending to be deep that the character who calls for those exact trails works a little better than the rest.

The result is highly stylized but fractured — a film with a modern look populated
by unbelievable, anachronistic
characters, despite fine performances
by Anjelica Huston and Annette Bening.
Somewhat ordinary - looking Genevieve Bujold — ironically in the book her
character is an attractive blonde - may escape peril
by clinging onto the roof of a moving ambulance, but this makes its rather
unbelievable premise of an entire large medical facility dedicated to the organ donor black market all the more plausible.
Yet older audiences (those who can stomach the violence and often
unbelievable stunts pulled off
by these more mature
characters) might appreciate this action adventure.
And
by failing to satisfyingly fill in the
characters involved in that triangle, the film becomes
unbelievable only as a missed opportunity.
