've always loved
cabinets for hiding all of our miscellanea, but open
shelves have been calling my name lately, too.
We won't be able to a reno for awhile due to being renters, but one of the first things I want to do too is pull down a lot of the upper
cabinets or at least
have open
shelving there.

've been reaching for morning and night now that the temps
have dropped and the air
has gone dry.
You can replace your countertops, knock out a few

shelving, or - like we
've done here - replace the backsplash.
