paint a custom color, but we choose their prepainted shaker option and the install

So guys here it is at last, I know some of you have been poking me to share the whole «how to
paint your kitchen

process.
We are in the
process of

cabinets Sharkey gray and I am having a terrible time deciding on a wall color.
So I truly believe this is the best
process for
painting cabinets.
Since I didn't
paint everything all at once and because of the
process I used to
paint each door, I lost track a couple of times of which
cabinet doors were in what stage.
We're currently in the
process of redoing several rooms in our home with hardwoods,
paint, lighting, staining
cabinets... The flooring will be here on a couple of weeks, and then we'll make our final decisions on

process???? I have the
paint, I have the grungy
cabinets, and I can't muster the oomph to get started, i.e. I'm scared sh*t less to start and make grungy look like a grade school art project.
Using kilz oil base primer should keep the
cabinets from yellowing and limit the
paint chipping after the whole
process because it's sealing in all of the dark color and oil base
paint is more durable than latex.

I think I've talked Mr. Project into doing a little series on
cabinet making and
painting... I am not detail oriented, so I am not a good expert on
painting, but he is super picky about each step of the
process.

Picking
paint colors was - of course - quite the
process, but we landed on Benjamin Moore White Dove for the majority of the
cabinets and Gothic Arch for the island.
