this cabinet painting project!
Originally I was going to paint the vanity cabinet blue, but in my typical change my mind 30 million times fashion, for now I'm going to leave it as is since I painted the upper walls blue and I'm not really in the mood for
a cabinet painting project.

I will be forever sad the day that I ruin this brush, because it not only made my life easy when
painting these
cabinets, but it has made every
project thus far since
painting the
cabinets easy.
I want to try this method, I've been making my own chalk
paint, and
painted my china
cabinet, and used the Minwax dark wax to antique it, it's not for everyone, but the look is just what I want, old world look, not even put it has character, I am doing my coffee table as well, I find very ornate pieces cheap and
paint a base cream chalk
paint and then go over it with the Minwax dark, let it sit for 15 min and buff, then add another layer of wax, its so much fun, but the problem I'm having is I'm ADD and I have 5
projects going at once!
I used a black satin
paint for the kitchen
cabinets in my SC Cove
Project and they are beautiful.

project actually has me wanting to try chalk

I keep going back and forth about

My other thought is to sell it, but sense I'm renovating this property twice (same idea, flooring,
cabinets, vanities,
paint, garage door, windows, etc.) I need to recoup my investment into the
project.

paint job he did yesterday on my new rehabbed kitchen
cabinets, finish the bathroom in the same house (at the stud level) and FSBO my 3/2
project by the spring market.

cabinets too, wow that would really add time to my

I'm getting ready to start re-painting the kitchen / bathroom
cabinets — so many
projects — so many
paint color choices!
Our vision for the hall for now is just fresh
paint, the white planking as a next step, and then a bigger
project such as eventually removing the
cabinets to allow more space in the entry (if the slate floors go under the built - ins) or upgrading them to better quality built ins or bookcases, or possibly even altering this whole area in order to fit in a new hall powder room and opening up the basement staircase:).
It could be a room redo, a closet redo, a fall makeover, a porch makeover, a
cabinet makeover, or a
painting project or whatever you want.

The first big
project I did using a matte - finish
paint, or chalk
paint, was our kitchen
cabinets.
Cabinets often have angles, corners and awkward to reach areas that you will need to tackle in every
painting project.

project I have been working on ALL SUMMER, it's a GARAGE BAR, I have finished all the walls in PALLET WOOD and have found some old used kitchen
cabinets in the trash, I am installing two counter top surfaces on these
cabinets and would like to
paint these with VF products, but I want something that's going to POP..!!!
My house looks more like a disaster as a

project is to get my

I'm trying to decide what I want to do on some bigger
projects such as fabric for my curtains,
painting my island, and maybe even
painting the
cabinets.
Now that a majority of the
projects in my office have been finished (minus a giant
cabinet that will be
painted once the weather isn't sub-zero), I'm having fun playing around with some finishing touches.
I have so many
projects going in my mind that I just don't have the money for, I would have a hard time choosing where to start, but I would probably try to finish

projects yesterday and they are: spray two ($ 30 each) Hollywood Regency bamboo cane chairs, spray and reupholster one Queen Anne style chair (inherited) plus learn how to do nailhead trim, prime and
paint two desks, a corner piece and a hutch for the office (free), spray two metal file
cabinets (free), and sand and refinish a Drexel pedestal breakfast table ($ 100).
