cacao butter would that be ok instead of
almond butter?
I'm not sure if this was down to using homemade
almond butter (previously used cashew butter), not sifting the raw
cacao or over-mixing in the Magimix — any thoughts on this would be appreciated (although this may be better directed at Madeleine as the recipe originated from her.)

cacao powder, coconut oil,
almond butter and maple syrup didn't melt completely when you were heating it.
You can replace the
almond flour with almost any flour of choice, or
cacao powder for a tropical chocolate version.
You just need five ingredients: raw
cacao,
almond butter, coconut oil, maple syrup and puffed / popped quinoa.
The
Cacao and
Almond is our original recipe and still a real favourite.
I have very sensitive skin so I use
cacao butter or
almond oil for my skin instead of lotions and face creams.
The mix of sweet dates with rich
cacao, roasted nut butter,
almonds, coconut oil and a pinch of salt will make everyone happy!
I wanted to use up the
almond pulp left over from making milk so I decided to add a cupful of finely chopped dates, some grated coconut, a dash of maple syrup, vanilla, & about a tablespoon of

almonds I used activated pumpkin seeds, I replaced
cacao with natural peanut butter and I added some cinnamon and vanilla and I didn't add maple syrup.

I upped the
cacao to 1T and subbed cashew butter for the
almond butter and also upped that to 1T.
I only had greek yoghurt in fride but added a bit of coconut milk and mixed in some grated raw
cacao, banana slices and seeds and a bit more
almond milk in the morning.
I would not use
cacao butter as an alternative to
almond butter as the consistencies and flavours are completely different.

You could try using melted
cacao butter, or something like
almond or macadamia oil instead, although sadly I haven't tried these myself before so I'm not too such about the flavour and ratio.
