cacao flavour which I'm worried will be too strong for the babies... I used date syrup instead of maple.
Also, I find 5 or even 6 generous tablespoons of
cacao powder work better than 4 as they make the brownies much more chocolaty and disguise the sweet potato flavour a bit better.

cacao butter is really great to use in this recipe as it binds the mixture together and has a chocolately taste but you could
also try using coconut oil instead!
They really do hit the spot, I
also add
cacao nibs that give them an extra crunch.
I upped the
cacao to 1T and subbed cashew butter for the almond butter and
also upped that to 1T.
I
also added heaped tablespoons of
cacao and an extra glug of maple syrup for good measure.
The chocolate top and bottom is rich and deeply chocolatey thanks to the use of
cacao butter, and my favorite way to sweeten it is with maple syrup (honey is
also a great option).
I
