I did nt find
the cacao nibs so i just sprinkled toasted hazelnuts on top.

I included
cacao nibs and chopped almonds in my batch
so I wouldn't miss a thing but you can skip the nut altogether for a lower - fat version.
I added another 1/4 cup of shredded coconut, some
cacao nibs, 1/4 tsp espresso, about 1 Tbsp honey (used fewer dates since they are
so expensive), and 1 tsp of coconut oil for extra flavor.

As an alternative, you can also use these
cacao nibs, which have a slightly bitter taste,

Well, this Vegan Strawberry
Cacao Nibs Smoothie is made with frozen organic strawberries (
so you don't have to worry about whether strawberries are in season or not) and your favorite nut or hemp seed milk.
I ran out of cocoa,
so I ground up all my
cacao nibs in the coffee grinder, then made the batter in the vitamix.
Add
cacao nibs and process just
so the
nibs are mixed in evenly.
Sometimes I actually dip chocolate cover
cacao nibs into peanut butter... It's
SO GOOD!
I don't use white or milk chocolate,
so used the dark chocolate chips and subbed
cacao nibs and coconut flakes.
They have
so many fantastic inspiring products such as raw organic
cacao powder and
nibs, raw organic
cacao butter, organic coconut sugar, organic lucuma powder, organic chlorophyll powder, organic chia seeds, organic maca powder and organic virgin coconut oil — to name a few.
- put all the filling ingredients in the blender and blend except for the
cacao - blend very well at high speed until totally creamy - pour 3/4 of the filling on the prepared crust - put the
cacao powder in the blender with what is rest of the filling and blend well - pour
cacao filling on top of the other filling creating a swirly shape - shape further with a chopstick or a knife
so that the chocolate cream penetrates the speculaas cream - cover with plastic wrap and freeze for a couple of hours until well set - sprinkle with
cacao nibs
I find
cacao nibs a great buy, they add
so much class to
so many things, they're packed with antioxidants, and a little crunch really goes a long way.
The raw beans are fermented, dried, cleaned, roasted, and shelled to reveal the
cacao nibs that raw foodists hold
so dear.
Cacao nibs are not cheap (they cost about $ 10 per cup)
so I would probably substitute with some chopped up dark chocolate next time.
So, that's why I came up with this little gem of a recipe, this Paleo
Cacao Nib Pesto is perfect drizzled over roasted sweet potatoes, white fish and even when baked with chicken!

Yum they would be
so good with
cacao nibs in them too, I am going to try that myself Also thinking a nut butter swirl on top would be amazing!
