In this yummy vegan brownie recipe, we're using almond flour in conjunction with oat flour, cooked quinoa and raw
cacao powder which makes them seriously delicious (and healthy).
Cacao nibs contain the natural cacao butter and
cacao powder which are separated later during processing to make chocolate products.
Then we've got bananas which are a natural source of sugar as well as potassium, flaxseed meal which is packed with omega - 3s, almond butter which is full of healthy fats and even more protein, quinoa flour which again has protein, but is also a complex carbohydrate and is high in many trace minerals,
cacao powder which has lots of antioxidants and coconut sugar which as natural, low - glycemic sweetener.
I added 1 table spoon of raw
cacao powder which gave it more of a mocha taste which was absolutely delicious.
I used
cacao powder which is also a healthy superstar, rich in antioxidants.
Then we stir in some raw
cacao powder which is high in antioxidants and other trace minerals, some coconut flour to firm them up and make them a little extra fudgy and then roll them in strawberries.

Sadly there aren't any alternatives for things like buckwheat groats which you need for the crunch, and
cacao powder which you need for the chocolaty flavour.
I always use raw
cacao powder which you can find online from places like Amazon if you're not near a local health shop, feel free to use cocoa powder though if your prefer x

which means that it still contains all of the original vitamins and minerals that are lost in the process of making cocoa.
It's best to use
cacao powder rather than cocoa

which would mask the sweet potato flavour.

Hi Ella, these worked out wonderfully for me, I added 3 tbsp
cacao powder too
which gave a nice chocolatey flavour!

cacao bean and therefore does not contain any caffeine,
which is in the cocoa
powder component of chocolate!
My next favorite thing to do with
cacao powder: when Pamela's Gluten - free Bread Mix is getting boring and I start craving rye bread, I use coffe or teccino (
which is gluten - free) instead of water in the recipe, and add a heaping tablespoon of
cacao powder and another of caraway seeds, and POOF: gluten - free almost - rye bread.
