This month's theme for Bundt Bakers, Breakfast, made me extra happy because I am one of those people who believes cake was made to be eaten in the morning.

For a quick on - the - go breakfast, you can cut you lemon pound cake into slices and wrap them in plastic wrap.

Loved the «Baked Carrot Cake Oatmeal», it was the perfect breakfast treat for a cold snowy December morning here in Connecticut (New England, USA).

I made this for breakfast, and after popping it out of the mug, I cut the cake in half horizontally and spread some chocolate «frosting» (1/2 banana + 1 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder + 1/8 tsp vanilla extract + drizzle of maple syrup) on the first and second layer of the cake.

Low in sugar, dairy free and loaded with healthy ingredients, these little quinoa cakes would make the perfect breakfast for or afternoon snack.

Buttermilk and maple syrup are a match made in brunch heaven, especially when you can eat a stack of carrot cake for breakfast.

I myself like to make a simple yogurt cake with a lot of plums sunk in the batter and just eat that for pretty much every meal until it's gone, breakfast included.

Cakes and cupcakes with fruit in them are totally acceptable for breakfast!

A timer permits the machine to be programmed up to 13 hours in advance so fresh bread or cake is available for breakfast or dinner.
