the cake had a nice texture!).

It sounds like it
would be a
nice option for
cakes and muffins to try and achieve a lighter and fluffier
texture.
And yes, the cocoa nibs were a
nice little extra dimension and
texture... although I'm sure the
cake would still be great without them:)
I like using olive oil in
cakes, as well as the oil been ready to use right away
cakes made with olive oil seem to
have a really
nice bounce to the
texture.
Really
nice cake to eat on its own, but since I
've expected this
cake to
have a dry
texture in the first place, I
have reheated some homemade chocolate sauce to eat with the
cake, just before I sliced the
cake for a «taste - test».
The
cake has a kinda spongy like
texture which is quite
nice, however it is lacking in the taste department.
This
cake has a really
nice texture from the addition of a little cornmeal.
The
cakes have a slightly earthy taste from the beetroot (which, surprisingly added a really
nice texture without too much «vegetable taste»), the sweet and citrusy touch from the orange zest, and the maple syrup scattered throughout the
cake stack.
