Unlike Iron,
supplementing calcium is encouraged and safe; however the body can only process 500 mg of
calcium at once so you need to spread your dosage out throughout the day.
Interestingly, women are
at lower risk of these complications from
calcium supplements than men.
So a person who takes 1,000 mg / day of

supplements, for example, should split the dose rather than take it all
