They fit true to
size (I got 7.5), they are roomy enough in the
calf area to wear with thick socks or legwarmers, the sole is flexible and grippy on the outside
so they are great in the ice and most importantly, they are warm.
Nevertheless I then stopped running and started walking because the most important goal to me is reducing
calf size (my
calves sored most while running no matter how many different running techniques I tried,
so I was afraid that running caused muscle gain in my
calves).
pd: After 4 weeks of doing the routine of our guide for the mesomorph body type I notice my thigs and knee are more toned and smaller, I measure them and they are reducing their
size, but I never measured my
calves (which has always been a problem to me),
so I'm trying to find out what type of excercises I have to avoid (e.g. as you said, jumping)
Hypothetically,
so if I stopped vigorous exercises and only walked, would the muscles in my
calves and thighs reduce significantly or would it just turn to fat and stay the same
size?
Running uses your
calf muscles
so that's why they have increased in
size.
It is a great exercise though
so if you don't care about
calf size — go for it!
Jump rope does use your
calves so if you do it a lot, it will increase the
size of your
calf muscles.

so it sits away from the waist — again — its all about «a'll the better to eat dinner with, my dear», in a huge, wild sunflower graphic print before graphic prints were trendy: it's giant sunflowers against an intense turquoise background (7) a
calf length caftan cut dress that I made from Japanese printed silk my mother had bought and kept for sixty years (it's just a giant square with a hole fro my neck and two for my arms, and has the best drape EVER owing to its being silk)
So if you purchasing these be sure you have small
calfs and order a
size up.
Basically, any
size calf can wear tall boots, the trick is finding a boot that doesn't go in
so much at the ankle.
I have normal
size calves,
so finding a pair that don't pinch when they are zipped or that actually pull up can be a challenge.
I'm a plus
sized person,
so finding book, or knee / boot socks that will abide the circumference of my
calves is near impossible.
When my
calves were less toned, it did bug me how some just regular
sized knee socks weren't quite big enough,
so I can see the value of «plus»
sized socks but it hadn't occurred to me to look for them.
If I
size up, the waist would be big and
so would the
calf.
