The good news is that we can all do it now, thanks to a giant interactive online map that was just launched in April by an organization
called Falling Fruit.

If you consider olive oil as
falling into the category of a fresh
fruit juice (in the sense that an olives actually belong to a special group of
fruits called «drupes» and can be pressed to obtain their oil or «juice»), aroma and taste might be considered as defining characteristics of this food.
I
call this drink the «Pearfect Harvest» because it represents my two favorite
fruits of the
fall season.
The
fruit is
called a «pencil» and is actually a baby tree that sticks in the mud and grows when it
falls from the tree.
