One of these substances
called dichloromethane has come under recent scrutiny because of its increasing emission rates over the last few years.
The findings, published in Nature Communications, suggest that a previously ignored chemical
called dichloromethane may now be contributing to ozone depletion and should be looked at to improve future ozone predictions.
