The agency has yet to respond, which is why I'll continue to
call it high fructose corn syrup.
This one will be almost as much fun to watch as the equally absurd legal squabbles between the Sugar Association and the Corn Refiners Association over what to
call High Fructose Corn Syrup.
As a side note the Corn Refiners Association is lobbying the Food and Drug Administration to
call high fructose corn sugar «corn sugar» instead.
It's like high fructose corn syrup... just

fructose corn syrup, sorghum syrup, carob, caramel, sucrose, dextrose,
fructose, glucose, lactose, maltose, and any item that is
called a sweetener or contains the word «sugar.»
Then growers found a way to process agave, and convert it into something
called hydrolyzed

Both granulated sugar and
high fructose corn syrup go through a refining process... they are

call it — corn sugar or
