Those who bash Christ based on ignorance
of what he actually said (not is so
called followers) lack credibility and are usually hypocritical
of a
lot more
things in their
lives than the topic
of religion.
Lots of people like to quote this verse when
things go wrong
in their
life, but it should not be quoted for those who do not love God and are not
living according to His purposes and
calling.
Whenever the government gets too involved, it gets
in the way
of a
lot of these
things, making it harder to
live out Jesus»
calling.
This idea
of everything that has
life sharing God's breath as it were, seems to make a
lot of sense to me and
calls us to think about the connection offered to all
living things — and the responsibility it
calls us to
in caring for
living things around us.
Lots of things can cause intermittent, occasional early rising: illness, teething, developmental leaps, growth spurts,
life transitions (like the birth
of a new sibling, or moving to a new house), potty training, transitioning from crib to big kid bed... all
of these can result
in a few days or weeks
of early - morning wake - up
calls.
The New York Times and Film Independent do this

I spent a
lot of time
in our local library pulling out microfilm & microfiche and looking up stocks, bonds, indexes, cost
of living / govt info, real estate, etc information from ~ 1900 until (then) recent times
in the wall street journal (this was pre internet — what took many weeks then now just takes a few minutes, but the Lotus 1 -2-3 spreadsheet program was very helpful
in doing the analysis) and then analyzed the results and concluded that the «only» investment strategy that made any sense was 100 % stock (absolutely the best return over time); but... there was that pesky
thing called recessions, depressions, stock market corrections etc..
There are

life skills» that every dog needs to learn,
in order to
live comfortably
in our world —
things like walking on - leash, coming when
called, and greeting people without jumping all over them.
