I just switch ed from the so
called paleo diet to a plant based whole foods with no animal products or processed junk.
Within a week of adopting what is now
called the paleo diet, which emphasizes healthy animal fats, grass - fed protein, and leafy vegetables, our bodies and minds radiated with exuberance.
That's basically how I eat, except for
calling it a paleo diet.

I don't like
Paleo being
called a
diet.
I wasn't able to over come my acne until I cut out certain foods (went on a
paleo diet), found ways to reduce stress (meditation and exercise), get more sleep (7 - 8 hrs), started taking supplements to support my liver, plus zinc and support for my adrenal glands plus started drinking this tea designed to balance woman hormones
called hope for hormones.
I am interested in beginning the
Paleo diet, but I see a lot of the recipes
call for coconut milk / flour or almond milk / flour.
Erring on the side of caution, I'd
call it a low inflammation (ie,
paleo), lower - carbohydrate
diet, with plenty of exercise and sleep, averaging 3 sq meals each day.
An interesting book I read several years ago is
called «The Paleolithic Prescription», this was probably the first book written in the late 80's to outline what we today
call the cave man or «
paleo»
diet.
And for all the
paleo people out there, I totally respect your decision about your
diet, you should take a glimpse of a new movie that's coming out
called «The Game Changers».

The fact is that humans on low carb / high fat / high protein
diets (
call them keto,
paleo, Atkins or whatever you want) also experience higher mortality.
But since it doesn't have a name or
diet type designation in the common knowledge, I usually
call it
paleo, as I think that comes closest to the unprocessed whole food bit, and explain if people ask more about it.
The basic premise of the so -
called «
paleo»
diet is simple — the
diet humans ate in preagricultural, Paleolithic times is best suited for human health.
But I hate to
call it «
paleo diet», because it's not like any other fad
diet, since it's based on real archaeological nutritional science about what our ancestors ate before the agricultural revolution came around.
That said, many people are finding that their center involves some form of what's

Paleo diet also
called as the «cave man
diet» is touted to be best for present day health issues such as diabetes, heart problems, blood pressure etc. and hence has become the trend for many people who are intrigued by its health benefits.
For instance,
diets lower in carbohydrates and higher in fat —
called, variously, «Atkins,» «
paleo,» «ketogenic» or «South Beach,» and based on the simple idea that carbohydrates are uniquely fattening — were all stiffed in the U.S. News rankings.
Whether we
call this fat - or keto - adapted,
Paleo, or any number of other popular names, just don't
call it a «
diet.»
This recipe does
call for potato starch and I do realize that not everyone with a
paleo diet can handle potato starch.
He basically led me to the
Paleo diet, not exactly, but a mix between the
Paleo and the SCD
diet, which you've talked about on previous
calls.
I'm on a
Paleo diet, but I don't want to just mix in flax seeds or whatever when there's a
