called phyllosilicates) last year, but the data were spotty, and some scientists wondered whether the clays were merely superficial layers, the result of gradual weathering rather than thorough soaking.

called phyllosilicates are all over Ceres.

called ammoniated

called mica grows directly into the faults as well.
