Time to take a look at one of my favorite films of Sundance, the
indie thriller Margin
Call, written & directed by J.C. Chandor,
about a 24 hour period revolving around the financial crisis - as boring as that sounds, it's actually pretty damn good.
Trevorrow, similarly, emerged with a small - budget
indie (also
about time travel)
called Safety Not Guaranteed in 2012, which he parlayed into the moneymaking sensation Jurassic World.
Back in 2012, I was contacted
