coming out of Comic - Con this week, 30 Studios announced they are stepping into the fantasy action RPG ring with Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

In this obscure indie film, two little read -

come together in a subtle, dialogue - heavy character study that plays
out like a slow - burning portrait
of good and evil in the modern world.
This movie

comics, played in the movie by Tilda Swinton.

Not being familiar with much
of The New 52
comic series, I could definitely tell that this movie was a little bit different from what we've
come to expect from the past DC Animated Universe films that have
come out over the past couple days.
One
of the buzziest trailers to

Comic - Con was Suicide Squad.
A villain
comes out of the blue (no surprises where from), and the climax is reduced to twenty minutes, nowhere near enough time to a) make the bad guy feel like the all - powerful being he is meant to be and b) convey the message that teamwork can take down the strongest foes, a moral that this
comic should really be all about.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a sequel to both Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers, two
of the best
of the Marvel series
of movies to
come out, and manages to rank right among them in terms
of sheer entertainment value and thoughtful

Growing up, I didn't collect

The real black hole in the acting department

of Tracey Walter as Malak, who is an utter failure at both the

of the role (Walter had been a late replacement for the ailing David L. Lander).
With nearly every major studio now working to turn its own
comic book properties into the next big thing, and with Marvel Studios and Warner Bros. plotting
out half a decade's worth
of material, it's sometimes tough to keep track
of what's
coming out when, who's in it, and how it fits into the overall picture.

While he might have been slightly too obvious a choice for the role, Patrick Stewart does look like he has

We have some exciting news for horror gamers
coming out of New York
Comic Con this weekend, where it was announced yesterday that Michael Myers and Laurie Strode
of John Carpenter's 1978 film Halloween will join the popular slasher - inspired video game Dead by Daylight.
If you look back to 1978 when Superman: The Movie
came out and think about all that has transpired since then, the shared weight
of comics and movie history speaks volumes.
There's a distinct absence
of comic logic here, which means that by the time the jokes
come around we're still trying to figure
out at least two things: 1.)
Killmonger first appears in the trailer breaking Klaue
