- after the remakes of Terry's Wonderland 3D and Dragon Quest Monsters 2, Yuji Horii asked the team what should be next - the choices were Caravan Heart (GBA), a professional version of Dragon Quest Monsters 2, or a brand new game - the staff made the plot together with Takeshi Uchikawa (who is currently directing Dragon Quest XI)- the suggestion was to make the theme become something catchy, which lead to a science fiction vibe - Horii said «anything's alright as long as it's interesting» - the creation of the Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light helped build Joker 3 - fan feedback from the mobile game was used, which lead to monster stats being seen - the Reactor device lets you easily see all the things that occur on the field - the team had some trouble bringing together the ridable monsters aspect of the game, but eventually worked it out - the full game starts off with monsters that players can ride on land - you'll eventually unlock sea, air, and multi-jump land rising monsters - a «Big Air ride» was teased as well - by clearing the story, features will be unlocked that further modify monsters such as abilities and changing their sizes - Stealth Boxes which can not be found without using the Reactor only contains useful items that are optional - compulsory items that are needed to be found with the Reactor are placed in non-stealth locations - accessories can strengthen monsters, but monster strength is mainly determined from raising and combining them - features more offense - related content in the form of new spells and skills - new water - type spells are included - new skills added enable more detailed adjustments in versus, adding more strategic features - one of the items that can be bought with Communication Coins has the same effect with «Key of Encounters» - this lets players recruit monsters a bit more easily they've befriended before - since Communication Coins can only be obtained from multiplayer battles, it's completely optional - people who still do StreetPass but don't want to do multiplayer battles can still get them by combining monsters - DLC monsters are planned to be added regularly post-release until around Golden Week (April 29 — May 5)- - A national tournament is also planned, with more details coming later - carryover feature from Dragon Quest Monsters 2 that comes into play after the ending - players can bring up to 10 monsters which are ranked A or below from DQM2 to DQMJ3 each day

It is without a shadow of a doubt my favorite game of the year thus far and will quite likely take the crown as 2015 closes out, unless something even better manages to come along.

Great update as usual, however there is a problem with the full PS3 downloadable games, they come without a digital manual, I mean we pay the same price for a digital download as the retail version ($ 60) yet they come without a manual which makes the digital buyers kind of left out and cheated.

This is without a doubt the best game to come out of E3 this year, it shows such promise, I really hope the studio is able to deliver.

Something that really caught my eyes were the use of bright colours, sometimes in games developers use this to catch your attention without actually putting much detail into the mix but Snake Pass has came out on top with nice bright colours and detail to boot i personally liked the level of detail on Noodle (the snake) he's a mixture of white cream and orange, if you manage to get an angle where you are zoomed in you will see each individual scale of his skin, the audio is an upbeat backing track with chirpy bird noises mixed with rainforest type sounds, all in all it fits perfectly!

I don't have Internet at home at the moment and will only have limited chance to play online so that means I can just jump on when I have the chance for a quick game without having to worried about getting kicked by more experienced players (especially considering it doesn't come out here till the 29th) and losing a ton of rating.

It is, without a doubt, one of the finest games of 2012 and it came out at the perfect time to cure the ailments of the late summer gaming lull.

Predict endlessly that Sony will abandon PSVR every week that a game doesn't come out for it, then when we get announcements of PSVR exclusive games, complain that there aren't enough games on PSVR to make it worth buying and that the game should be available without VR.

Now before you go lynch me for saying that an huge open world game can not come without glitches I would like to point out that this is not my biggest gripes with the game as I have tolerated a lot of glitches since the first Risen game, the problem is mainly the combat and the camera and those two working against you is enough to make you break controllers and not wanting to continue on.

I remebere when they came out, I actually said flat out to the Harvey Norman sales guy «These are just shittier versions of games I haven't even bothered playing on my PS2» he's liek «aww you can't say that without playing them» «Well I just did»

After a rather subdued end to 2015 without any real exclusives to stack up against the plethora of games coming out of Microsoft's stable, 2016 is looking like it will be a big one for the PlayStation 4.

If more games can be expanded upon post-release without the requirement of owning the original game, then maybe everyone can come out winning.

These came in the form of item descriptions and small amounts of dialogue from NPCs, this allowed those that were after just the game play with out much of a story line (not that it was without its story driven progression) to focus more on arguably its most renowned feature, it's combat system.

A game that comes out on two consoles has an OK chance of outselling the new one it launches with, but pulling it off without even needing the previous - generation sales is a truly impressive feat.

The game runs smoothly and without any kind of problems with button lag or control issues, with Titan Attacks being such a simplistic game it makes it difficult to come out with any faults in the gameplay.

This is a game that pushed the limits of the PlayStation 2 when it came out 10 years ago, and recent iOS devices can handle it without breaking a sweat.

Overwatch has, without a doubt, been one of our favorite games to come out of the last year — garnering our Game of the Year 2016 award.

Many of the PS Vita launch games from Sony, Ubisoft and other publishers came out today on Valentine's Day, so those picking up the Playstation Vita First Edition Bundle can jump right in without having the wait.

Microsoft is claiming that owners of the original Xbox One won't be left out in the cold when it comes to new releases, but it's hard to see how games will manage to take advantage of the new hardware without being held back by the old.

But if you want another good platformer, or want an experience which is as close to Metroid or Castlevania as you can get without losing the concept of seperate levels, buy this game when it comes out.
