The Moto Smart Speaker does have the unique ability to attach to the back of your phone and should have considerably better battery life than the Tap, but seeing as how the
Mod covers the
camera lens
for your Moto Z device, you likely won't want to have this thing attached to your phone at all times.

for the other phones eligible in Verizon's BOGO deal, the LG V30 has strong
camera capabilities of its own, particularly
for shooting video, while the Z2 Force supports customizable Moto
Mod add - ons.

camera button, it then also instantly prints any photo you take with the Moto
Mod — or any image you can access online on on your phone,
for that matter.
This Moto
Mod is made
for people who want to own a smartphone, but also want some features that are normally not included in mobile phone
cameras.
Thankfully, starting with the Galaxy S7 series and continuing here, it appears thinness is no longer a top priority
for Samsung; the Galaxy S8 is 8 mm thick, while the S8 + is 8.1 mm, perfectly suited
for a
modest, but not huge, battery, and the complete elimination of a
camera bump.
Moto Z2 Force has been launched in India, featuring a shatterproof design, dual
cameras, and support
for Moto
Mods.
The new Moto 360
Mod was also sent along
for a few weeks so I will be testing this out and comparing it to the Samsung Gear 360
camera I also have on hand
for evaluation.
The Moto
Mods range from about $ 100
for the battery case and speakers, up to $ 350 to $ 400
for the
camera and projector respectively.
The company promised a steady stream of new Moto
Mods for its Moto Z family of smartphones, and it's kept the streak alive with a variety of quirky, unique, and practical add - ons, from a Polaroid

Mods in place.
Those Motos
Mods will include a new 360
camera for $ 299 that Motorola unveiled alongside the Moto Z2 Force.
But that can't make up
for a
modest pair of 5 and 2MP rear and front
cameras respectively, just 1.5 GB RAM and an unspecified processor that's unlikely to break any speed records.
There are many
camera mods available
for these two.
The handset also comes with two 12MP
cameras - one monochrome and one colour - but if those specs aren't enough
for you, the Moto Z2 is also compatible with Motorola's Moto
Mods.
The Nest Cam Outdoor is basically a weatherproofed version of the
camera you know and love, and you can add the
camera to your subscription
for a
modest fee to be able to view all your
cameras in one app.
Unlike Motorola's Moto
Mods, the compact 360
camera add - on
for the Essential Phone takes up about a quarter of the space.
