Thankfully,
the camera module sits flush with the back and we didn't see any chipping or scuffing during our review period.
Samsung makes a point to note that the Galaxy J7 Prime's
camera module sits flush with the rest of the body, a design element that doesn't negatively affect the phone's thickness.
On the back,
the camera module sits on the upper left, with the flash surrounded by a glossy plastic bar that stretches over the whole top.

You'll still also find the Samsung logo
sitting right above the display, and above that
sits an earpiece with a front - facing
camera module to the right.
There's a squircle
camera module towards the top in the center of the device, with the LED flash / HR sensor

The circular
camera module is discreet and doesn't protrude from the back Shell, so you can place the handset on a flat surface and it'll

camera module is thought to be shorter this time around, with the
camera module being horizontally placed just like before though the sensor is supposed to be bigger, and with the fingerprint sensor now
sitting below this part of the device.
A simple single LED flash
sits under the
camera module which is covered by a slightly protruding piece of square protective glass cover.
The 5's
camera module was built into the space that
sat behind bezel on the front, whereas the new
camera system resides behind the screen, and so it protrudes a couple of millimeters more.
Unlike the ones found on the S8 and S8 + however, the fingerprint scanner on the S9 +
sits directly below the
camera module.
Around the back, the 16 - megapixel
camera module juts out of the body ever so slightly, so there's no wobble when you try to use the phone while it's
sitting on a flat surface.
On the back, we find a couple of logos, along with the
camera module in the top left that
sits flush with the glass.
The selfie
camera module, for example, can
sit comfortably on a fingertip with room to spare.
If Samsung chooses to move to an in - display fingerprint sensor though, it would probably solve one of the complaints that customers have had about the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 +, which is that the rear mounted fingerprint sensor is in a somewhat awkward position
sitting right next to the rear
camera module, making it easy to brush the
camera glass instead and smudge things up.
Around back
sits the brand new dual -
camera module, which features one 16 - megapixel
camera with Sony IMX 398 sensor, and a second 20 - megapixel
camera with Sony IMX 350 sensor.
