The volume rocker right below it and the dedicated
camera shutter button at the bottom of the right side don't leave a lot of room to comfortably rest your thumb on this side of the device though.

The iPad 2
camera application in comparison is very basic: there are absolutely no settings available except switching front / rear
camera, video / still image, there is no flash and the
shutter button is annoyingly placed
at the bottom of the device making it very hard to operate.
On the right side sits a dedicated two - step

shutter speed, ISO, white balance, exposure value, and more
at the touch of a

I'd love a physical
shutter button, but
at least a double - press of the power
button will quick - launch the
camera, and volume up will take a picture.
The placement of ports and
buttons is much the same as the Xperia Z2 as well, with power, volume and
camera shutter buttons along one side, along with a covered microSD card slot, a headphone jack
at the top and dual front - facing stereo speakers, while if you flip the phone over there's a
camera and flash on the top left corner, just like on the Z2.
This whole rig is also optically stabilized, and there are dedicated
camera shutter and record
buttons on the side (though
at this time they don't yet actually launch into the
camera).

at this time simply switch between the two modes and take up unnecessary time switching between them.
