The main
campaign portion of the game is split into three distinct sections, each of which focuses on a primary antagonist our heroes are trying to hunt down.

the campaign portion of the game, the mechanics are quite simple to understand.
Since the early days of the NES and even further back, a main
campaign portion of a game has contained the interest of fans, but only so far.

The
campaign is the only storyline in the
game and it only features a small
portion of the roster and some only have a single line
of dialogue.
Unfortunately, the
campaign easily ends in less than five hours, making it hard to recommend it to anyone who is not interested in the competitive multiplayer
portion of the
game.
On the other side, many devs have done a good job
of reconciling
campaign - based
games and loot boxes by limiting loot boxes to a multiplayer
portion.
Perhaps the developers could have offered a time attack or score based multiplayer mode to go along with the SP
campaign, but it is sadly lacking here leaving you limited to just the single player
portion of the
game.
Be prepared for the fact that while the
game is quite easy to be creative with, there are some
portions of the user interface that can be a pain in the butt to do deal with, I'd rather just have a proper tutorial, but the
campaign does at least give you some inspiration toward designing your own over-sized play area.
Although it makes up a small
portion of the
game and is therefore often overlooked as the key to its ultimate success, much
of Modern Warfare's greatness stems from its singleplayer
campaign, a linear, tightly scripted action - movie that just so happened to be interactive.
Many FPSs
of this nature released today choose to forgo the co-op
portion of the
game in order to just concentrate on the single - player
campaign mode.
I've put well over 700 hours into the online
portion of the
game, and no telling how many hours into the single player
campaign.
I did not get to try the aerial combat, as the beginning
portions of the single player
campaign get you familiar with the new
game mechanics like setting up various devices to aid you and your team.
But no matter whether the
campaign is a true masterpiece or just another forgettable and predictable experience, there's every chance that for many it will go completely unseen regardless, with a fair few
gamers instead opting to jump straight in with the multiplayer
portion of the
game.
Complete the
campaign once, and this mode will unlock, allowing you to play through the entire
game with all your progress on each weapon, which is, as the mode's name suggests, overkill for the first
portion of the
campaign.
Major Nelson also stated that the
games 8 - player multiplayer mode will be available to try, after completing a
portion of the
game's
campaign.
Now Think More Games has launched a
campaign called Think 3 For Charity to create a way for the ever growing
game industry to help various charities, while showing other indie, and larger studios that they can be successful even while sharing a
portion of their sales.
I'm sure a previous Activision meeting went along the lines
of «Why include a
campaign which takes up a considerable
portion of the budget and development time, when you can include a new hyped
game mode which has the potential to generate huge amounts through micro-transactions».
The single player

game is setup with a twelve stage

There's absolutely no point to this
game having the size
of a map that it has, at least for the single player
portion of the
campaign.

Chris's
portion meanwhile is more
of a cover based shooter and, for the most part, is everything that a lot
of original fans don't want from a Resident Evil
game, whilst Jake's
campaign is similarly centered on shooting and blowing things up, though he has his own melee attacks that unfortunately require you to un-equip weapons, before you're able to use them, which means many will just forget about them.
The four
game studios raised the cash by creating a variety
of «peaceful playthrough» options and DLC, and by donating a
portion of their sales during the Armistice
campaign.
The
campaign itself is the weakest
portion of the

campaign as expected.
