against bots.
The single player
campaign isn't co-op, but you can play split - screen multiplayer matches
against bots with (or
against) a buddy.
I gave the single - player
campaign a try, but it turned out to be a series of multiplayer matches, only
against bots.
There's also a
Campaign mode, which has players facing off
against other player's
bots and boss characters to win all manner of customizations so you can change your favorite fighters to your liking.
Players are able to hone their skills by themselves,
against bot players and mission objectives laid out by a
campaign representing the actual historic events of the battle of Stalingrad
The Single player
campaign and facing off
against bots makes for a nice distraction but one which soon becomes boring.
While the play set will be the first four player
campaign the series has had the expansion can also be played solo
against AI
bots and will be compatible with the new Hulkbuster, Ultron and Captain America figures among others.
It may not be the same as having an objective and completing it, as you would do through the
campaigns, but achieving victory
against a
bot on the hardest difficulty will be just as satisfying.
