I then layed out the candied blood orange slices on a pieceofparchment and mixed some of the leftover blood orange syrup with some powdered sugar to make the most beautiful and delicious blood orange glaze.
If you don't want the candy «cup» look, with the ridges on the sides, then you can remove the candies from the muffin cups just before covering with chocolate and set on a flat pieceofparchment paper to firm up.
