These
ideas are the result of many
years of coming home after work and sitting down with the news on TV, a drink, a
candle and the cats to just relax.
I LOVE the
idea of putting the jewelry on your
candles and I can't get enough of mercury this
year.
We love lighting
candles, so when I saw this Pinterest
idea, for
candle holder, 2
years ago, we were going to make them then, but by the time we dried the leave we didn't get to around to it.
Anyway, after much anguish this is what I came up with for ours, and I rather like it now: I began collecting these bobbins several
years ago, and the
idea to use them as
candle holders came from my mother - in - law who is an interior designer.
Once upon a time, a million
years ago, I shared an
idea about how to make your own «snow» for mason jars and how to use the snow for glittery
candles.
I usually arranged lots of sparkly trees,
candles, rhinestone garlands on the table (and also hanging from the chandelier), fake ice and fake snow, real flowers in tiny water picks nestled in real greenery, etc. and received many compliments BUT this
year, since I have a bucket similar to yours, I think I'll shock the family with your
idea!!
