An NIBIB grantee has developed an ultrafast
camera that can acquire two - dimensional images at 100 billion frames per second, a speed
capable of revealing light pulses and other phenomena previously
too fast to be observed.
The newer variant also supports a 1.4 Ghz dual - core processor, with the older model arrived with just a 1Ghz single core CPU — although both contain a 5 megapixel
camera, but the Pre3 version is
capable of HD 720p video recording and houses a front - facing
camera too.
With a
capable camera on board though, I wish Samsung added a
camera quick - launch button,
too.
As such, the XOOM Family Edition
too boasts of the same 1 GHz dual - core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 10.1 inch IPS display along with a 5 megapixel
camera as well that is

They're perfectly
capable video
cameras, but you shouldn't expect
too much when taking photos.
There are a lot of neat touches,
too, we especially like the single navigation key, and the dual
camera is
capable of taking some striking images.
Generally speaking the Pixel 2 XL is one of the most
capable smartphone
cameras around, only faltering occasionally on white balance measuring and there's unlimited storage for photos
too, with some very potent results from that portrait mode and the auto HDR.
The Galaxy Alpha is a
capable video
camera too, capturing footage at up to 4K resolution with an ample bitrate of around 48 - 49 Mbps.
The 19MP rear
camera is quite
capable too, and at 129 x 64 mm the XZ1 Compact is even smaller than most phones in this list.
But that's not necessarily the most impressive part — it also has dual 8MP
cameras that are
capable of some neat tricks,
too.
That's the
camera used for Face ID, which means that,
too, is
capable of building a 3D map of the scene before it.
It's certainly one of the most
capable cameras out there, with the flexibility of weatherproofing
too.
It has a decent 13MP primary
camera and a 5MP front facing
camera, both are
capable of capturing reasonably sharp images, although don't expect
too much on low light conditions.
The front
camera is
capable of 1080p video recording and wide colour capture and body and face detection are on board here
too.
And LG's
capable camera app makes a return
too — largely unchanged from the V10 — complete with its impressive RAW shooting mode and full manual controls.
Both the rear 11 - megapixel and front - facing 7MP
cameras are both
capable of recording 4K video
too, which can only benefit from being viewed on a 4K display, so again it's strange that Xiaomi hasn't fitted its phone with a screen to play video back on.
