This was such a fun assignment, we all set out to choose pieces that fit into our idea of a
capsule wardrobe, it was so cool because all 3 of us have very different styles and ended up choosing quite different pieces for the same type of

The key to a
capsule wardrobe is versatile but classic pieces, these should always be able to be swapped out with one another to create fresh and new
looks.
I made up a few boards which has helped me to shape my
capsule wardrobe, and found that sticking within these limits helped me to avoid spending money on random items which, when I
looked back on months later I had either grown sick of seeing too much on others or just didn't like.
But I can't rely on this one
look to keep me going, I need a few
capsule items to bolster my Spring
wardrobe... my current thinking is a classic pair of cropped or straight leg trousers (i'm loving these), a quality white shirt to throw on with everything, something a little special for weekends or evenings out (this jumpsuit has seriously caught my eye), maybe a flirty midi skirt for styling up and down (this one's gorgeous), and maybe a statement loafer (these Gucci ones have stolen my heart).
