This 28 page step by step guide is my tried and tested method I used to build my own 32 piece year round
capsule wardrobe,
which 2 years later I'd never be without again.
In the end I did buy lots of brights both at H&M, Mango and other shops and I created a brights

I just created my own

There are a total of 21 clothes and shoes in the
capsule wardrobe,
which make at least 100 outfits.
This will help guide and narrow down shopping choices, and will ensure that everything goes with everything,
which is key to a successful
capsule wardrobe as it greatly increases remix potential.
I will create a
capsule wardrobe around the month's theme, complete with 10 outfits created from 10 - 15 pieces, many of
which you likely already own.
Prior to building my
capsule wardrobe, I mostly bought sweatpants and leggings at Target,
which had the disappointing habit of ripping or running threadbare after a few month's wears.
Within the

capsule wardrobe (still working on that...) With spring on its way, unpredictable weather is obvious.
I had the ultimate
capsule wardrobe when I was pregnant,
which definitely made it easy and didn't hurt the wallet (most things came from old navy), but I got so bored!
Which we all know isn't true because there are bloggers out there who've made a career on creating
capsule wardrobes.
This is something I've entirely made up, but to me a zero waste
capsule wardrobe is essential a
wardrobe in
which nothing (or very little) will go to the landfill once your clothes have reached the end of your life.
