I
used my tried and true vegan brownie recipe as the base for these but I cut down on the

It was so delicious and I didn't have the
caramel syrup as I can't eat those
sweeteners but I did
use Just Like Sugar Brown sugar sub, 1 tsp Frontier Maple extract and 1 tsp Frontier vanilla as subs for the
caramel syrup and can I tell you, this is a winner, Mellissa.
But as I was doing the natural
sweeteners theme, I
used palm sugar instead of normal sugar and made a
caramel using palm sugar to pour on the bread.
Mesquite powder is ground from the pods of the mesquite plant, and has a sweet, nutty,
caramel - like flavor, making it ideal for desserts and for
use as a natural
sweetener.
