card applications, we were able to book two first - class
round - trip award tickets on Cathay Pacific to Bali, via Hong Kong, for this past summer.
I won't use the
card ever, and keeping the credit line open will help me for my next

applications, should I need to close a
card to get an approval from Citi.
The exception to this rule is if you have to close one
card to open a new
card as part of a CCC

cards within about 3 - 6 months of a

card applications often triggers
application rejections.
While prepping for a friend's latest

card applications (app - o-rama), I wanted to include an Alaska Airlines credit
card since they are churnable as you can get the signup bonus again and again without any issue.
In its current form, however, I wouldn't rely on it to be the first or last word when planning a redemption or
round of credit
card applications.
We don't see the need to do it any more frequently because you can apply for one
card per bank when you do your
application rounds, as long as it's on the same day.
