Why # 10: A few reasons I don't rank this
card higher, even though you can earn up to 100K Avios as a signup bonus and the

award chart devaluations over the past few years.
Finally, if you want the ability to earn tons of points but don't want to be locked into the United
award chart (just in case there's a better option for some of your travel), you can look to Chase

More family travel for less money Since my days of flying back and forth between graduate school in New York and seeing friends and family in Texas, to learning how to keep my two young girls connected to their family members spread around the country, I've spent much of the past decade learning the secrets of leveraging rewards earning credit
cards, points promotions, airline
award charts, travel sales, and otherwise very mundane everyday life tasks and expenses to enable our family to literally travel around the world, sometimes in suites and in first class, for a very greatly reduced cost.

The Marriott Rewards
award chart is hard to defend, but I don't think it really is that out of the ordinary, especially when you consider that top tier Platinum members earn a 50 % bonus on points for stays, and if you pay for your stay with your Marriott Rewards Premier
