Fans of
fighting games and will probably not
care about a lack of story - telling cohesion.
Also, to think
about it - Lightning would be nice choice (but only for SCV, not potentially upcoming SCVI), because of irony - FF13LR is nice
game, but terrible FF, while SCV is nice SC (best
fighting system so far and awesome online), but terrible
game (5 years ago, when I wasn't really into
fighting games - didn't
care about balance, haven't played online - I wouldn't buy such a barebones of a
game.
But these are tweaks only the
fighting game community will
care about.
Imagine having to play a mission you didn't
care about the first time round a second time, this is not good
game design and it is clear Kojima had given up
fighting Konami by this point and the rush to release had begun.
You can tell the developers really
cared about giving their fans the full on
fighting game service.
If the only thing you
care about is the ability to play 1v1 against other people online in the latest
fighting game then SF V might be worth your money.
However, if you
care at all
about single player content in your
fighting games, proper support for arcade sticks and
fight pads, a robust selection of modes, multi-person lobbies for online play, a diverse selection of stages to
fight on, or a sizable roster of fighters to play with then Street Fighter V is going to disappoint you.
But these are tweaks only the
fighting game community will
care about.
If you can accept this
game as something you'd find in a local arcade, or simply don't
care about single - player content in
fighting games most of the time (like I don't), then the larger - than - life power fantasy presented with this roster of beloved Square Enix characters can provide hours of entertainment simply from its scant selection of modes.
Even more impressive is how the plot actually makes you
care about these characters; unlike the intro / outro clipshows most
fighting games have to offer, MKX's story bothers to include things like character development and heartfelt moments in between all the ridiculous action.
It's the # 1
game on the Gamecube, the biggest
fighting game since Street Fighter II, and the only thing everyone
cares about seeing on a Nintendo...

fighting games, new characters are often enough to get players back into the
game — if they're ones that owners
care about.
Forget Garou, Last Blade and KOF Maximum Impact, no actually active
fighting game players and competitive people
care about those
games.
There is no real «boss»
fights in the
game, since they are all robots that you don't really
care about fighting.
I have owned all 4 previous
games and as soon as it is released in australia im that big of a fan i couldn't
care less what it cost me its a got to have
game if your a fan like me plus im that big of a fan I want KAZUMAS tattoo and im going to name my first son when i have one after KAZUMA coz he was my favorite character yet plus playing as four main characters was fun so five should be alot of fun and
about time you get to playas Haruka plus it would be cool if you could add tattoos to the characters if possible I would play it at least 12 hours a day and I do nt

fights they are my only 2 dislikes in the whole four series they should just have underground street
fighting tournaments were anything except guns are not allowed so it sticks to hand to hand combat and melee only

care about, and this is a
fighting game everyone should play.
For all of their convoluted relationships, quests and all the arbitrary specifics of their canonical stories, the only thing that puzzles me
about Namco's
fighting game mythologies is how some people actually manage to
care about them.
The first thing anyone
cares about when a new version of a
fighting game comes out is the roster, and UMvC3's roster has gotten much bigger.
Not only do you genuinely begin to
care about the races you've
fought against and recruited to your side over the course of the
game, but they become a living, breathing part of the world that feel just as vital to the campaign as its story elements and worldbuilding.
