It's very easy to keep one of these
carriers clean without
having to worry about taking it apart, dealing with the loss of important buckles or
snaps, trying to spot - clean when you really need to do a deep clean, or trying to manage a
carrier that keeps shrinking in the dryer.
It is awesome, primarily because I
've never seen a
carrier that can be used for all ages, newborn through toddler, via a series of
snaps and folds, without an insert.
If I wore them in a
carrier, the sling
would rip and my spine
would snap.

have buckles,
snaps, and bulky padding, which make wearing the baby more comfortable, but are also harder to pack in a diaper bag or to fit under a jacket.
Structured
carriers have padded and adjustable shoulder and waist straps which clip,
snap, or buckle into place.
All you
have to do is unclick the
carrier from the car seat and
snap it into the stroller, and you are done!
The frame
has a
snap in attachment for the
carriers onto the round base, thus no requirement for any other straps or connectors to make attaching to the car seat.
Where the body of the
carrier connects to the waist belt, the Beco Gemini
has a set of
snaps.
It is as light as my «
snap and go» (a frame for a single infant
carrier) and
has as much storage as a travel system, including the all - important cup holder.

Other
carriers promise to be easier to wear, but may
have a lot of buckles and
snaps and need adjusting to fit your body every time you put it on, especially if someone else
has worn it.
I
had an organic from about two years ago, and the
snaps on the weather cover did not match the
snaps on the
carrier and wouldn't attach.
